Nice call Klenotka, I was just going to say this is verging totally off topic, lol. No harm done but any further discussion of this could go in the off topic
cast discussion thread here:

Not sure about the speculations that he will not accept if he is offered to host the Oscars again. He is known to do what his instincts tell him and sometimes famously goes against advice of those closest to him ( Deb did not want him to do the first XMEN movie and neither was his agent in favor of the more-than-a-year involvement in The Boy from Oz). Besides, being known as musical theatre star and hosting the TONYs three years in a row did not prevent the strong reception to his return to Broadway in a dark and gritty play called A STEADY RAIN. He hosted one TONYs while filming Van Helsing in Prague and another while doing the run of The Boy From Oz...and the third one came around the time he was about to be involved in SCOOP. Maybe he can work around his filming schedule for THE UNBOUND CAPTIVES or the creative team can visit him on location. Besides, it can be excellent and free publicity for the movie

With locations, we've heard rumours of New Mexico and New Zealand and have speculated that they want to be able to film different seasons over the space of
a few months. To state the obvious, it will be a lot easier to find suitable extras for the indian scenes in New Mexico so I'm assuming the big set pieces
will be filmed there. The interiors and city scenes could be filmed anywhere but maybe NZ will be used for the ranch.
...without Baz and his crazy vision, I don't think it'd be happening.

Hey, I had a chance to ask Hugh directly at the STEADY RAIN stagedoor if he hosting the next Oscars. His very prompt response : "I don't
know.", which I optimistically interpret as NOT a categorical NO

On a blog for Rob re filming of the next Twilight movie:
Another squeaky cog is Rob and Kristen's filming schedules for next year. Unbound Captives hasn't set Rob's shooting schedule just yet and as Summit will accomodate him, they would like to know when he'll be available for Breaking Dawn. That could be the difference between a May and September start date. |

That could be the difference between a May and September start date. Meaning to say that Rob needs to be out of THE UNBOUND CAPTIVES to be able to start the next Twilight sequel by September? And if he is going to be involved in TUC, he will have to start filming his scenes only in summer (for his schedule, maybe mid-June to mid-September)? While Hugh will likely be still involved with REAL STEEL, if that is supposed to start filming in June. On another article, director Levy and producer Spielberg are supposed to be deep in pre-production for that movie now. This is going to cause a headache for the TUC producers/creative team. Unless the scenes with Rob will be shot in September?? And Hugh can start filming in mid- to late September ??? I wonder what really happened to the original plans to start TUC filming in January 2010??

It could just be that pre-production isn't ready for an early year start date. And I think "September" for the next Twilight movie is
speculation/tentative since nothing's been announced yet. I guess everyone is trying to work around Rob and Hugh's schedules!

Maybe TUC's schedule, once a 2010 release date did not seem feasible anymore, has become more flexible to accomodate a longer pre-prod and the conflicting
schedules of the main actors? If all things work out alright, hopefully its new release date will be in the last quarter of 2011 ( Hey, how about Thanksgiving
weekend?).

Pattinson wouldn't need to be out by September if he filmed "Breaking Dawn" first ie in May. The Twilight series has been filmed very quickly and
economically so it's not likely to cause a holdup.

They can work around schedules if need be, and Rob probably won't be needed that much. Plus he said UC was filming in the summer and the new Twilight in
the fall - of course nothing is finalized yet but that's what we know so far.

I doubt if Rob would have to be there for more than 1 month. And I'd feel much safer if R-Patz said that they're expected to film like in the fall or
late summer instead of what he's said, mid year just because of Hugh and RS. But like Pat said, I'm sure things could be worked out.

R-Patz still talking about trying to juggle schedules.
"I think the tentative time for 'Breaking Dawn' is fall next year," Rob said of the fourth "Twilight" novel, which might be split into two films. "Depending on how things go, I'm doing a movie called 'Bel Ami' in February, an adaption to a Guy de Maupassant novel. And I'm doing - I hope - a Western with Rachel Weisz and Hugh Jackman called 'Unbound Captives' sometime around there as well. They've got to try and juggle things around until everybody's schedules work." http://www.mtv.com/movies/news/articles/1627428/story.jhtml |

I don't think that's new - I think that's from the same press conference a few weeks ago when he mentioned it and this site is just reporting it
now.

Stupid MTV! Every time I see a mention it makes my heart jump, I wonder if we'll ever really know for sure what the status of this is. It would suck if it
was just in limbo forever and just be one of those things that goes and is suddenly never talked about again. Boy I'm pessimistic right now, lol.
